“Cinderella” at the Saenger Theater, presented by The Playhouse in the Park Tuesday, March 4; Deadline to register is Saturday, March 1 All ages and extended family welcome, cost is $7.00 per person, time is 8:45-10:30 am Directions: Sanger Theater, 6 Joachim Street. I-10 East to Water Street exit. Water Street to left On Government Street. Approximately 4 blocks, turn right. Theater is on corner. Special Note: Bring quarters for parking meters The Playhouse in the Park is proud to present an enchanting new musical fantasy based on the traditional Fairy tale favorite. A cast of 100 singers, dancers, and actors, along with exquisite scenery, costumes, and special effects will make this an exciting event.
Alligator Alley, Summerdale, Alabama www.gatoralleyfarm.com Date: Friday, March 28 Deadline to register: Thursday, March 27 All ages and extended family welcome Cost is $8.00 per adult, $6.00 per student, ages 3 and under free Time: 9:45 a.m. Directions: Hwy 59 south; left on Couch Plant Rd; left on Hwy 71 to farm sign. With over 20 acres of natural cypress swamp land, our alligators roam freely in a protected environment. The whole family can safely observe alligators feeding, courting, and nesting from our elevated boardwalk. We currently have over 150 alligators from the hatchlings in our gift shop to the big alligators in our swamp land. Enjoy a nature walk through our various exhibits as you journey towards the big swamp and the ultimate king of Alligator Alley, Captain Crunch! This world record gator is over 13’ long, weighs over 800 lbs, and has the worlds strongest bite ever recorded from an alligator.
Field Trip Guidelines To make a reservation for you and your family, mail reservation form and checks payable to MRCS to Field Trip Coordinator, Peaches Fink. Please send a separate check for each field trip. For free field trips, reservations by e-mail are sufficient. If you must cancel, do so ASAP so someone on the waiting list can have your spot., DO NOT attend a field trip without a reservation, or bring more people with you than those for whom you have reservations. If you are late, you are on your own- the coordinator is a mom as well and cannot wait for late arrivals. NO money or reservations can be accepted after a deadline. Please read all field trip policies in your faculty folder. Do not call before 3:00 p.m. |
